Historic Cafés Route Executive Team participated in the preTraining Academy of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe held in the premises of the French Ministry of Culture, in Paris (21&22/2/2023).
The meeting was a preparation for the Annual Training Academy of the Cultural Routes which will take place in Dordogne/France by the end of May/beginning of June.
Both Annual Academies of 2022 and 2023 are organized in France by the Ministry of Culture and one Cultural Route in the same time, proof of the support of France to the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.
The working groups of the Academy are divided into three topics: Collaboration, Visibility and Sustainability.
HCR Executive team, George Loverdos (Route Manager) and Maria Mystakidou (Communication Manager) participate in the Sustainability group (Please read more here).
After the preTraining Academy of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe HCR visited some emblematic Historic Cafés in Paris to strengthen the Route with members and closer collaboration.
They had also meetings in the French Ministry of Culture as well as with diplomats in Paris with the same purpose: Promote the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and Include more Historic Cafés and countries in the Historic Cafes Route strengthening the links between the population across the wider European region, promoting the sustainable development and the principles of the Council of Europe.
