- HCR publishes the nominations for the 2024 election’s Board of Directors in the order in which the candidacy letter arrived in the official email of the Route.\
- The candidates with a short text present their views, ideas and strategy.
My name is Alexandros Delithanassis and I am the owner of the Historic Café – Bookstore Antico Caffé San Marco in Trieste, Italy.
I was the Vice President of HCR on the Previous Board of Directors, but unfortunately, the formal -dismissed by the majority of the Board President- couldn’t meet the expectations and the demands of an International Cultural Route, certified by the Council of Europe.
The majority of the Board of Directors had to step up and dismiss the President so HCR could continue its course.
I am fully aware of the extremely important demands and issues that a certified Cultural Route has. I am ready to work so HCR will achieve its past glory and visibility.
There are European programs that can financially help HCR and I am sure that we will be able to be part of them, but I am sure that the new Board will have to support at the beginning HCR.
Having the annual fees for 2024 in Mach will definitely help a lot.
Let us all work together to make HCR successful as it was in the past, only this time, we will need to follow an international path.
I already have close relations with Historic Cafes in Austria and Slovenia. I strongly believe that HCR must open, gain more members, from more countries, and therefore more visibility and more power.
I need your support to be part of the new elected Board of Directors on the elections held in Mach and bring HCR to the top of the certified cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.
Thank you
Alexandros Delithanassis
