Second Cultural Routes Academic Workshop

The European Institute of Cultural Routes, in cooperation with the University Network for Cultural Routes Studies, held the second edition of the Cultural Routes Academic Workshop on Thursday 7th December 2023 (online).

Organized by the EICR in cooperation with the University Network for Cultural Routes Studies, the Academic Workshop brought together almost 300 scholars, researchers, students, and other participants from Europe and beyond to exchange and share their research outcomes in the field of Cultural Routes studies.

The University Network for Cultural Routes Studies is a network of universities interested in the study of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. The Network aims to encourage the conduct of research on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe related issues, encourage students to undertake their academic research on Cultural Routes, jointly apply for European Grants with the EICR, participate in the annual programme of activities of the EICR and offer scientific advice where required.

The event welcomed theoretical perspectives, state of the art research reports, case studies and policy evaluations relating to all aspects of cultural routes.
