Press Conference with Mr. Stefano Dominioni, Executive Secretary of the Council of Europe Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes and the co-organizers of the Conference “Cultural Routes” of the Council of Europe planned to take place in Chania, Crete in 2022, held on 14.10.2021 at the Historic Café “Kipos”.

A Press Conference with Mr. Stefano Dominioni, Executive Secretary of the Council of Europe Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes and the co-organizers of the Conference on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe scheduled to take place in Chania, Crete in 2022, was held on 14.10.2021 at 12.00 p.m. at the Historic Café’ “Kipos”.

During the Press Conference, Mr. Dominioni touched upon the importance of the preparation of the 11th Annual Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, planned to take place in Chania, Crete from the 5th to the 7th of October 2022. The Press Conference saw the participation of the co-organizers of the Forum, namely Mr. Didaskalou, the General Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Mr. Fragkakis, the General Secretary of the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT), Mr. Kalogeris, Vice Governor of Crete, Mr. Giannakakis, Deputy Mayor for Culture in Chania, Mr. Rokakis, President of the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Stathakis, President of the Cultural Route by the name “Historic Cafes Route”. Videos and speeches were sent by Mrs. Lina Mendoni, Minister of Culture and Sports, Mrs. Angela Gerekou, President of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT) and Mrs. Zaharaki, Deputy Minister of Tourism. Moreover, a letter sent by Mrs. Dora Bakogiannis, Vice President of the Council of Europe was read.

The Press Conference was followed by lunch held in honor of the speakers and the journalists, at the Historic Café “Kipos”.
