The Historic Cafe “La Glace” which is the oldest Cafe in Denmark, as it was founded in the center of old Copenhagen in 1870, has a long history since its first owner, Nicolaus Henningsen, was a well-known and famous confectioner of the time.
The current owner, Marianne Stagetorn, had the idea to hold lectures on the History of Coffee at La Glace. Thus, in recent years more than 600 lectures have been held in schools, art schools, companies and organizations. Several of the lectures concern the confectionery traditions of the place, the preparation of sweets and ice creams.
It is therefore the right place for apprentices to improve their skills and be distinguished nationally and internationally.
In the relevant video we see three apprentices who excelled in confectionery. In another post, Historic Cafe “La Glace” congratulates its apprentices who are distinguished in a high level chocolate competition in Copenhagen.
This is an excellent idea for those who deal with this gentle and sweet taste…
