The Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) is pleased to welcome the Republic of North Macedonia as a new EPA member State.

On 11 August, HE Ms. Bisera KOSTADINOVSKA-STOJCEVSKA, Minister of Culture of North Macedonia, informed HE Ms. Marija PEJČINOVIĆ BURIĆ, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, of the decision of North Macedonia to accede to the EPA.

North Macedonia becomes the 37th member State of the EPA.

North Macedonia is currently crossed by 2 “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”, with the potential for further extensions among the 48 certified Cultural Routes:

•  The Routes of the Olive Tree
•  The Iter Vitis Route
