Malta joins the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe

The Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) is pleased to welcome Malta as a new EPA member State.

On 8 August, HE Mr. Owen BONNICI, Minister for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government, informed HE Mrs. Marija PEJČINOVIĆ BURIĆ, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, of the decision of Malta to accede to the EPA.

Malta becomes the 40th member State of the EPA as of 30 August 2023.

Malta is currently crossed by two “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe”:

– Phoenicians’ Route

– Historic Cafés Route
